My Journey: From Craftsmanship to Development
My professional journey reflects my commitment to precision and excellence. At 50, I carry with me a rich artisan experience that nurtures my unique vision of software development.
My story begins in the world of lutherie and instrument making - a field demanding exceptional rigor, method, and precision. This training instilled in me a craftsman's approach to work where every detail matters and quality is never compromised.
My passion for digital technology is not new: I deployed my first website in 1999. For years, I developed WordPress sites alongside my craftsman activities, designing solutions for my business, friends, and associations.
Resilience and Professional Rebirth
In 2020, a workplace accident abruptly interrupted my career in craftsmanship. Facing this challenge, I chose to transform adversity into an opportunity for renewal. What was previously a hobby - web development - became my new professional path.
This career change was not simply endured but chosen and embraced with determination. I invested all my energy in my training, achieving excellent academic results (averaging 16/20 and 16.5/20) in my development courses, proving my commitment and ability to excel in this new field.
A Unique Vision of Development
In lutherie, creating specific tools to perform ultra-specific tasks was an integral part of my work. I've retained this artisanal inspiration in my approach to development.
I am neither a geek nor a nerd - I am a code craftsman. I approach development with the same philosophy that guided my woodworking: creating custom, precise, elegant, and durable solutions. Every line of code I write bears the imprint of this artisanal approach where functionality and aesthetics converge.
My dual expertise in permaculture and development has also given me a unique systemic vision. I design applications as ecosystems where each element must function in harmony with the whole.
Technical and Human Expertise
With four years of experience in Symfony development, I possess an in-depth mastery of various technologies: PHP, SQL, JavaScript, Java, as well as frameworks like Angular and React. My career at Groupe SEB has allowed me to apply these skills to concrete challenges, such as simplifying user interfaces and automating complex processes.
Beyond my technical skills, my years of experience in craftsmanship and training have equipped me with essential human qualities: patience, empathy, analytical ability, and communicative enthusiasm.
My Commitment for the Future
Today, I am furthering my skills through a Master's degree in Fullstack Java/Angular development, while daily putting my expertise to work on concrete projects.
I seek to bring my unique vision of development to a team where quality, innovation, and human values are at the core. My past experiences have taught me that no obstacle is insurmountable when challenges are approached with passion and method.
